Be Green

05.22. 10:10am-10pm

East Village Arts District3rd & Long Beach Blvd.

Celebrate, Educate, and Empower

Bring family and friends for entertainment, workshops, booths, artists and activities! The theme of this year’s festival is “turning the tide”, celebrating the transition into becoming a more eco-friendly and sustainable city.

The purpose of the festival is to create awareness of the many resources available to help us make this transition. This public event will also serve as a place of commerce, arts and entertainment, networking, and education. To participate, click the Festival 2010 tab.

If you're bored with nothing to do Saturday, show up! You'll definitly learn ways of turning green while you enjoy listening to some cool bands play. I'm going to be there, so mention Bounjour l'amour when you see me, and make my day!

Today I would like to inspire you.

Inspire you to have an open mind.
Inspire you to love the life you live.
Believe in what you want to believe in, even if it's only you that believes it.
If it makes you happy that's all that matters.
You matter and don't let anyone tell you different.
Live your dreams.

We live such a short life to not live it the way WE want to live it.
Who cares about rules, dangers, or disapproval's
All this is, is fear.
And people should not be fearful of living nor dying.

Everyone in this world deserves to be happy and strong.
Once they realize this…
I'm inspired by them.
Stir it up... little darling stir it up.

HAVE FUN AND EXPERIENCE WHAT THIS LIFE HAS TO OFFER.

Very First.

Ahh my very first entry. I've never really had the interest to blog, just read them, until I got inspired by Christopher Luu, Style blogger for http://julib.com/. I met him when I attended what is called Fashion Camp OC, where we got to meet people in the fashion industry while they tell us how they got there and how we could get to where they are. It was located at my school Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California! Anyway, the name of my blog is Bonjour l'amour which simply means Hello Love in french. I named my blog this because I believe everyone is lovely in their own way, and when you come to my blog I want you to feel welcomed and loved, because you are, no matter what anyone does or says to make you think otherwise. My blog will contain many different topics especially fashion related since that is what I'm studying and very interested in. So I hope you enjoy! Before I leave I would like to leave you with this: Inspiration could be found anywhere, even if it just simply inspires you to clean your room.
